What is included

• Pick up from your hotel in Cusco.
• Private transportation to Mollepata and Soraypampa, starting point of the trek.
• Professional Guide English and Spanish.
• Entrance to Salkantay road.
• Entrance to the citadel of Machu Picchu.
• Horsemen and horses to carry all the equipment, tents, food, kitchen equipment, restaurants and tents, passenger equipment (7 kilos maximum per pax).
• Food 3 breakfasts, 3 appetizers, 3 lunches and 3 dinners. All these meals are prepared by our chef and his assistant.
• Coca tea is served every morning in your tent.
• Boiled water after breakfast, to refill your water bottles.
• Lunch with hot drinks such as coca tea and coffee.
• Oxygen and first aid kit.
• Vegetarian and special diets at the request of the client.
• All camping equipment, including tents for staff.
• Guided tour of 2 hours in Machu Picchu.
• 01 night hostel in Aguas Calientes
• Train Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes
• Return train to Ollantaytambo and then a private transport to Cusco.
• Transfer to your hotel in Cusco at the end of the tour.

NOT INCLUDED:

• Sleeping Bag, you can rent in our office ($ 25.00 USD for the entire trip).
• Trekking poles, you can rent in our office (the $ 15.00 USD for the entire trip).
• Lunch on the last day and breakfast on the first day.
• Entrance to Huaynapicchu or Machu Picchu Mountain ($ 35 USD optional).

What you need to bring/carry:

• Daypack
• Rain jacket or poncho (plastic ponchos can be purchased in Cusco for a few dollars)
• comfortable footwear
• Sweater and jacket (something warm)
• Water bottle and purification tablets (Micropur are recommended and can be bought in local pharmacies in Cusco)
• Hat or cap to protect you from the sun
• Sun block (sun protection cream)
• Insect repellent
• Camera, plenty of film and spare batteries
• You also need to bring your original passport
• (1) Personal horse for riding while on the trek with and extra cost of US$60, you can have a personal horse to ride any time you may need.
• (2) Vegetarian Meals. We can provide vegetarian meals or cater for special diets with no extra cost. Just let us know at least 2 days prior to trek departure

Suggestions

1- If you are planning to travel to Cusco during the months of December to March, we recommend to bring with you a rain gear since we start the rainy season over here.
However, April to November are the months of dry season, we have sunny days but cold nights

2- If you live at sea level, and planning to visit Cusco, you might experience the Altitude sickness, Cusco is located at 3350 meters about sea level. We recommend a local remedy called mate de coca, it is tea made from coca leaves. This is helpful, but by no means a cure.
Acetazolamide (Diamox ) is drug that has shown good results as prophylaxis and treatment of AMS ( soroche o mal de altura ) It is a prescription drug used in the treatment of glaucoma, and as a diuretic.

3- Hiking boots for the following tours, Rainbow mountain, Inca trail, Salkantay and Choquequirao

4- Light dinner for the first night of your arrival to Cusco. Since the elevation of Cusco slow down the digestion

5- You don´t need to bring a lot cash to Peru since you can withdraw USA Dollars at most ATMs across the country Visa,Master Card,Cirrus, American Express and Diner's Club,etc) Most ATM machines in Peru do not add any charge for withdrawing money from your home bank account, but your own bank might.

Confirm your Booking: We will require a non-refundable tour deposit of 50% per person.

The deposit is to be paid by the following options, by VISA Payment On-Line, Paypal, and Western Union money transfer; these are the fastest & most secure form of payments in Peru.

The remaining balance is to be paid in Cusco once you arrive prior to your tour departure date.
