Salkantay to Machu Picchu 4 days

Salkantay Mountain is the tallest mountain in the Cordillera Vilcabamba at 6,272 m/ 20,569 feet, and the second highest in the Cusco area.

According to the Andean worldview, the Salkantay is a gigantic, living deity which protects the territories and lives in communion with all other beings: people, animals, clouds, water, etc. The name of this colossal being is Apu.

This trek is mapped out for its natural beauty, steering away from the ancient ruins of other treks. You will cross over high mountains and desolate areas, allowing for more personal contemplation as you experience the harmony of nature.
